CALL FOR SPEAKERS

Pwani Innovation Week brings together youth innovators, entrepreneurs, government, investors, and community leaders shaping the future of Kenya's coast. We are always looking for insightful, experienced speakers who can share real-world knowledge, bold ideas, and practical perspectives with our audience.

We welcome proposals from founders, investors, policymakers, researchers, creative entrepreneurs, and industry experts working across the coastal and East African innovation ecosystem.

Proposals are welcome across any of our five thematic tracks:

• A Decade of Narratives; Legacy & the Swahilipot Journey

• Sustainable Coastal Economies; Blue Economy, Green Economy, aquaculture, and climate resilience

• Youth Enterprise & the Creative Economy; Startups, creative industries, and financing

• Digital Transformation & Emerging Technologies; AI, cybersecurity, and the digital economy

• Governance, Policy & Coastal Futures; County and national policy for the coast

Who can apply to speak at PIW 2026?

We welcome applications from founders, investors, policymakers, researchers, creative entrepreneurs, and community leaders with relevant experience across our five tracks.

When will I hear back about my application?

Due to the high volume of submissions, we are only able to contact successful applicants. Selected speakers will typically be contacted once the programme is being finalised.

Can I submit more than one proposal?

Yes, you may submit more than one proposal if you have different topics or session ideas. Please submit a separate form for each proposal.

What makes a strong speaker proposal?

The strongest submissions include clear, practical insights, real-world case studies, and experience specific to the coast. We prioritise speakers who can share actionable knowledge and unique perspectives with our delegates.
